Kevin Owens Talks An Emotional Story From His First Main Wrestling Match

In a recent interview with The Whig, NXT Champion & now officially a WWE SuperstarKevin Owens talked about his first exposure in WWE, his current inspiration & tells a very emotional story from his first Pro-Wrestling match in 2000. Below are the highlights:
His first exposure to WWE:

On his first ever Pro-Wrestling match:
“My dad rented a tape of WrestleMania 11 when I was 11 years old and I watched it with him, and that was it. I saw Shawn Michaels wrestle Diesel and that kind of sealed the deal for me. I knew that that’s what I was meant to do.”
“I had 60 family members in the crowd. My brother cried and my grandfather, who is not with us anymore, but was such a big fan of mine and was always so supportive of my wrestling endeavour — he would take me to WWE shows when I was a kid — he was just so proud. I remember as I was walking to the back, he was by the rail, and I went to slap his hand but he grabbed it and pulled me in for a big hug. That’s actually a moment I’ll probably never forget and this was 15 years ago now and I remember it like it was yesterday.”
His current inspirations:
“I wanted to make my kids proud, I wanted to make my wife proud, I wanted to make my parents proud, and I wanted to make Hunter proud because he took a shot on me. I’m not the typical WWE superstar. He hired me anyway and he saw something in me. And I want to deliver for him. I want to pay him back for that by delivering the way he thinks I can and I think I did.”

Elimination Chamber 2015 Possible Endings

Kevin Owens loses via DQ
NXT Champion Kevin Owens will face US Champion John Cena in a “Champion vs Champion” match. This is just a traditional singles match, not a title match.

Not only will this solidify Owens as a monster heel, but will also make sure that Cena doesn’t lose clean.
The only logical end to this match would be Kevin Owens losing the match via DQ. Owens could use a foreign object like a steel chair to cause the DQ and keep on attacking Cena.

Seth Rollins Retains WWE World Title
If you think Dean Ambrose is going to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Current plan for this year’s SummerSlam main event is for Seth Rollins to defend the WWE Title against Brock Lesnar. There have been talks of adding Roman Reigns to the match as well.
This is imminent from the current plans that have Rollins walking into SummerSlam as the WWE World Champion. So expect Rollins to retain the title at Elimination Chamber, Money in the Bank & Battleground pay-per-view as well.
Expect interference from the Authority during this match.

New Intercontinental Champion – Sheamus
WWE might have accidentally spoiled the result of the Intercontinental Title Elimination Chamber match as Sheamus is being advertised as the Intercontinental Champion for the upcoming WWE Live Events.

WWE has been discussing a push for Sheamus for a long time now and this push is scheduled to begin at Elimination Chamber 2015.
The Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber match participants are: King Barrett, Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, R-Truth & Sheamus. Rusev might be replaced by Bray Wyatt if he’s unable to compete.

New Tag Team Champions
There are plans of making Lucha Dragons the top babyface tag team in the WWE, so expect Kalisto & Sin Cara to pull out the victory tonight at Elimination Chamber.WWE officials have talked about pushing former NXT Tag Team Champions, The lucha Dragons. According to reports, Vince McMahon was really impressed by the Lucha Dragons.
Expect this match to steal the show as it will be a unique one. For the first time ever, 12 men will enter the Chamber and a fast paced brutal action is always a treat!
Nikki Bella has been the WWE Divas Champion since Survivor Series 2014. Nikki dropping the Divas Title has been discussed for some time now and it might happen tonight at Elimination Chamber 2015.5. New Divas Champion
WWE officials have talked about finally giving Naomi her first Divas Title run, as a heel. WWE has planned a push for her and that’s the reason why the decision of putting Tamina by her side was made.
